thank you John, i will try. when i look in the expressions list i see all the .5 measurments i want to change and i know there is a way to select just those with a filter. i just cant find it.

NX peeps i have a couple hundred tubes with a size of .5. i want to select all at once and change them to .75. where do i do this? i cant figure out expressions?

Ron i did that but how do i change all the files back to look like an NX file. They are still .prt files but show a different symbol.

How do i get the icons of the .prt file to show as a NX icon. One time a window opened and asked "what program i want to open this file with" and i must have hit something by accident. any help would be nice. Dave

NX'ers When i update my features it stops on features that have an error. i had this set to blow through the error an just give me a window when done but i cant seem to fins this switch again. please help? Dave

What does this do? even reading the explanation, i dont get it.

Every time i create sheets, solid bodies, etc they get put into the reference sets. i dont want them put into the reference sets. i will manually put them in when i'm ready. Where is the toggle to turn this off. thanks DAVE

When i create features they get added to the referance sets. i would prefer to add them myself. Where is the setting to stop this from happening? thanks

its a line (parabola) that was rotated into a surface. need to keep the focal point with that surface all the time.

need to associate a point to a surface so when i move the surface the point moves with it. how?
