Hi, I am using simulink/simdriveline to make a longitudinal acceleration and deceleration model of a vehicle. I am not much experienced with matlab or simdriveline so I am editing an already made example called 'sdl_manual_transmission'.
The problem I am having is everytime I change the clutch...
Here are the equations:
1/Rx = 1/rax + 1/rbx
1/Ry = 1/ray + 1/rby
1/R = 1/Rx + 1/Ry
I don't understand what the radius x and y values are how to tell whats what, the question I have been given is this:
The ball-outer race contact of a deep groove ball bearing has 10mm ball diameter, a 5.5...
in this paper: http://www.sid.ir/en/VEWSSID/J_pdf/119320101807.pdf
on page 65 it says fanning friction factor has to be applied to find nusselts number for the radiator coolant but it doesnt state what it is. What is this factor ? is this to do with a fan that goes on the radiator ?
Thank you.
I have an air cross flow radiator where the air flows perpendicular to the flow of water i.e. water goes left to right in the tubes and air passes through the fins from front to back. In this case would it be appropriate to use the LMTD method or should I use something else ?
It makes sense now because the CLMTD is nearly half the small radiator's CLMTD and the bigger radiator's surface area is double the surface area of the smaller radiator.
Hi there,
I have tested two radiators with 90 degrees celcius of hot water going through it. The radiators were placed in a wind tunnel with the ability to control air speed.
The bigger radiator cools the water more than the smaller radiator and the air temperature rise after the air has gone...
