To answer the question WHY, from time to time I validate and standardise MRO inventory lists, if i already have the P/N in my tool, or if I have access to a list in my library, that will facilitates the process. I dont expect to gather all, but its a case of more the better.
I am building a master list of pump spare parts with Mfrs P/Ns and not vendor P/Ns.
Appreciate if any members have any pump spare parts lists ideally in MS Excel that indicate the Mfrs P/N that they can send me.

I have been reviewing the MRO Spare Parts Listing for Spectacle Blinds for an oil & gas operator. They have 8 different stock nos for 3/4" 150# blinds. The range may have been deliberate or most likely "as supplied" on different projects over the years.
BLIND,SPECTCL,3/4",150#,5MM,SS316,FF...
I have tried googling a Spirax Sarco spare part and the only hits I get are on e bay, or Pic Click

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FORM A, B ETC WASHERS AND TABLE 3, 4, 7, 8
SOMETIMES A TABLE IS SPECIFIED WHILE SOMETIMES A FORM IS SPECIFIED, ALL VERY CONFUSING

for info, this is what I have been told
SPA and XPA have same width, height and angle.
The difference is that SPA is wrapped and XPA is raw edge cogged.
XPA transmits 30% more power because grip is better.
They're interchangeable providing you don't mix them when the pulley has more than one...
ARE THESE TWO BELTS FORMATS THE SAME I.E A XPA-2000 CAN BE REPLACED BY A SPA2000 TO MINIMISE THE NUMBER OF BELTS STOCKED
GOOGLING EACH THERE DOES SEEM TO BE A SLIGHT VARIATION IN THE TOP WIDTH 12.7mm COMPARED TO 13mm

I am creating a master list of Mfrs spare parts numbers I have...
yes appears so, best to standardise only on the imperial size for classical belts especially when the size quoted can be inside, pitch or outside length depending on vendor
Thanks, have done more googling. Your web site says it is a 612mm but 24x25.4 is 610,
Somehow I always thought B24 referred to the Pitch length but have rechecked and it is the inside length
I also googled B612 and nothing came up. The moral of the story is always quote classical belts using...
Can someone help me in categorising the different design types of contactors and relays. This is for spare part cataloguing which uses a NOUN and QUALIFIER, and perhas a 2nd Qualifier to separate the different types
