    Yes, I always prefer a forged valve than casted valve. 1-1/2" valve typically supplied in forged condition, 2" and above supplied in casted condition. But if can get forged valve size 2" and above is better. tq

    Thanks Caloooomi for the feedback. Yes, the channel head that is to be reused was not manufactured by the same fabricator. So it is true that we cannot insist for U stamp if the vessel is not a complete fabrication. Maybe we should use Partial Data Report and R-stamped it instead.
