Hi, Thanks for your help, so abaqus simply calculates the nominal strain through the Deformation Tensor and substracts the elastic strain to get the plastic strain?

Ive been looking for the definition of the plastic strain (PE) output in Abaqus, how is this one computed? In the Users Manual are only informations about normal and logarithmic strain and i can't find anything in the Theory manual either.

Thanks for you help, will this still work when my body is non rigid? I can define a coordinate system of the undeformed part using 3 nodes but this coordinate system will change as those nodes are non rigid.
