Hydro test of fire fighting lines.

thank you so much. Now i'm clear that the test can be carried out at 200psi.Its because of the contractor who kept arguing with me that the sprinklers are rated at 12 bar and cant be tested at 13.8 bar pressure.

Hydro test of fire fighting lines.

According to NFPA14, the sprinkler system should be pressure tested at 13.8 bars for 2hours. But the sprinklers used in most fire fighting systems are rated at 12bar. will the sprinklers be affected if the system is tested at 13.8bars? whats is the right way to do the pressure tests.
