Hi guys!
For my work I'm looking for a powered rotating knife to cut carboard boxes.
Does anyone know some suppliers or companies who sell powered rotating knifes?
Yours Truly,
@JNieman there are little holes in the plastic bags, I think that's the reason why. I also don't really understand why it's not an option because like you said it already failed the quality control.
@IRstuff I think a saw generates more dust because it makes an back-and forth motion. It is...
It will influence the quality of the rice, because it generates to much dust.
A static knife could well be an option, because it generates just a small amount of dust which can be filtered.
My boss doesn't want to use a knife because he's afraid that it will influence the quality of the rice.
Weaken the box by humidify also isn't an option becaus of quality issues.
Now I'm more looking for an option to open the box at the top, where the box gets closed.
I'm using a rotating knife, with cut length 1cm.
You can't see the created dust, but in the lab they tested it and it creates to much dust for the consumer.
Maybe there are possibilities to open the box without cutting? Like 3DDave says, it will also generate dust but a filter can reduce it to...
@Compositepro The installation only have to put the bag out of the box because there is already a machine that seperates the rice from the bags.
@orneynorsk Because rice bags may not be opened I think such a machine isn't achievable.
After some testing I think it's possible to open the box at...
Thank you for the fast response.
@Compositepro , I also think a rotary knife would be a good idea but I don't understand how the two halves will form a "V".
Is it maybe possible to draw a sketch of it?
@IRstuff I think that when you slice around the entire box, there is the possibility that...
Hi guys!
Since a few months I work at plant where they make rice.
Now I have to design an automatic carton box opener, but I don't know how to start.
Afther the carton box is filled, it has to be re-openend if there is any quality issue with the rice.
The machine has to cut (or something else)...
