Also, the friction factor for liquids is fm and for gases it is ff. ff = 1/4 fm. It took me a while to find this out.

What are the installation trench requirements for an underground / buried 4" gas pipeline (850psig); depth of trench, soil compaction requirements (ASCE #, section #),
and thickness of sand around pipe = # ?

I have to install a new 4" CNG return pipeline about 540' long on-site in TX and I have to inherit an about 540'4" & 6" supply and return. Do I need to design and install a PIG station so the onsite pipeline can be inspected and why or why not!
