    Controlling the water circuit

Thanks all for replies! It's a cooling loop like in the picture below:

    Controlling the water circuit

Thanks for reply. DP1 coil return temperature should be constant. So 3-way valve controls also the cooling power of the coil.

    Controlling the water circuit

DP1 is cooling coil. DP2 is evaporator. 3-way is controlling cooling coil return temperature.

    Controlling the water circuit

Hi. If I want to maintain constant flow at dp2, but pressure loss dp1 > dp2, what's the best way to control the pump?

CS valve and SS pipe galvanic corrosion with low conductivity (tap) water as fluid

Water analysis report says conductivity is actually <150 μS/cm and dissolved oxygen is <20 μg/kg. There's Hydrazine (200 μg/kg) in the water. pH is 9.5. But put Class 150 valve in.

CS valve and SS pipe galvanic corrosion with low conductivity (tap) water as fluid

CS valve is cheaper. There's a vacuum degasser in the system.

CS valve and SS pipe galvanic corrosion with low conductivity (tap) water as fluid

    Hi. I'm wondering what's the possibility of galvanic corrosion when welding CS (1.0345 / A285) valve to SS (1.4307 / 304L) pipe with 309L filler metal? H2O conductivity is 30 mS/m (300 μS/cm), temperature 50° C (122 °F), pressure 3 bar (43.5 psi).

Plate Heat Exchanger Literature Survey: Question related to Nusselt correlations

Yes, those equations by Rosenblad & Kullendorff and Heavner et al. are curve-fits through sparse empirical data. And they are old, indeed.

Plate Heat Exchanger Literature Survey: Question related to Nusselt correlations

Hi. These questions are for those, who are familiar with Nusselt number correlations and PHE research history. Q1: Rosenblad and Kullendorff (1) had jD=0.273 x Re-0.303 for the correlation in their experiment. But Manglik (2) proposed Nu=0.289 x Re0.697 x Pr(1/3) for the correlation according...
