I was wondering if anyone had come across a manufacturer that supplies a CANopen Proximity Switch device.
Currently I'm using a standard inductive switch that connects to a CANopen expansion board.
Is a dedicated CANopen device available or am I dreaming?

For me, the first step in this puzzle is to better define what is meant by "emergency steering system"
If the purpose of the system is to move the vehicle off the road and out of the way of traffic we may only want to run the system for a matter of minutes?
Understanding this will dictate size...
I would attempt this.
1- Ensure the machine is in a safe state and the area is clear of anyone.
2- Set RP1KMF,VPNF and VCNCO to their minimum setting.
3- Close BP2H
4- The flow downstream of VPNF needs to dead headed with a gauge port ( we would need to see the rest of the circuit.)
