Are the test bends to qualify MPS as per ISO15590-1 produced at the same angle that of production bends..
We have a problem of 3D bend produced out of tolerance of mentioned bend angle per requirement however the test bends for MPS were tested at different angles that of production bends.
Can anyone share material spec for M20 & M30 washers. I have a situation where I get deviation from the vendor to ASTM F436M for M20 & M30 washers..however i do not have the basis to chack if this is acceptable or not.Below is snapshot of the material certificate.
Does it mean if thickness is less than 25mm then PWHT is not required for P1 materials if preheat temp is 95deg. C.

Reference to Table 331.1.1, only PWHT parameters (soaking time, soaking temperature) where provided based on applicable thickness selected by designer.

Is it not prone to leakage..??
And is this weld needs to be radiographed and what type of weld is preferred??
We have a 42" ; 2 piece side entry ball valve, 300# used for subsea application to be installed on PLEM.
The question is for 2piece side entry ball valve which has a welded body, the welding point is potential for leakage..so how can it be avoided..the body is forged..and does the welded part...
