@gerhardl Yes, I thought of doing that set in the pit. But that is not the connection used in the old plant.

@mk3223 The application is sewage water removal. The size of the line is 25 mm

What should be the connection between a pvc ball valve and a flexible hose that will go to a sewage pit. Also is better to just hang the hose loose in the pit or connect it to a pipe.
