Hello guys, do you also experience drop in performance of 3DExpereince? I find it that is much slower in loading files and in overall performance, since it communicates with server all the time. Sometimes when I am working on my parts just to open the fillet and update the radius value it takes...
As title said can you describe what is most useful VBA script for you that you can't work without? I am mostly using it for BoM export and modification of part properties.

I am not ignoring it I just want to understand how this work so I can find solution.
Yes it hits stopper which prevents lid to go more than 90 degrees.
I know but as I already said I can't use gas struts due packaging constraint.
Yes but I think I will find somebody from Europe since I am...
That is true, but I think damper has constant torque isn't it?

Hello @BrianE22, yes you are correct I want to slow down motion of lid when it moves toward vertical position. In my case torque to open the lid is 122 N*mm, so to move that torque I need spring with torque bigger than torqe to raise the lid in my case that would be 150 N*mm. The ammount of the...
Due packaging reasons, any gas strut is too big for my packaging constraints.
This is not helping me since I need to calculation for rotary damper with gear, and on their web page is only gas strut calulcation not rotary dampers as far as I can see.

Hello folks, I need sanity check. I am designing lid and I need to choose damper for soft opening since I have torsional spring which opens the lid when latch for the lid is released.
So from internet one source is referring that is necessary to get toque of lid and torque of spring. So torque...
I think it is only possible through Enovia with option Collaborate with EBOM. To be honest I was also annoyed with Spreadsheet so I made my BoM application, you can check how it looks on my YT channel in my signature.

Is there way to check with 3DExpereince via VBA macro if object is part or assembly?
EDIT: I know that I can inspect it by looping through each element in assembly and checking number of sub-elements in assembly. My question is more reffered if there is property like .CheckType or .Type to get...
@jzecha unfortuantely I don't have time to write script for you but here you have example of initializion of ArrayList which you can implement in your code. The idea is to create loop which will traversly go through your Body or Product tree and check which one has material and which don't have...
Make an ArrayList where you will store your string, and in the end just print content from ArrayList.
