Yes I have read it now..
My job is to weld a vertical plate in downhill condition and I have a 6G qualified welder on pipe in uphill progression , so it means I have to requalify my welder either in 3G downhil or 6G downhill for the required job ?
Am I right in interpreting it ?
Hi.. I have a little confusion regarding 6G qualification of a welder , it is generally said that a 6G is qualified for all positions. My question is:
A welder who is 6G qualified is also qualified for 3G downhill or not, considerring he qualified 6G in uphill progression only ?
Also, If he is...
Here is the attachment of bronze sleeve aftr LP .. I need to respond to client about its acceptance/ rejection.. If i refer appendix seven then client may question me that appendix seven is for steel casting not for bronze casting ?
How should I reject the test with proper justification...
Lets say , If client leave it up to the inpection team to decide acceptance creteria thn , can steel casting acceptance creteria be applied to bronze casting sleeve ?
Asme section viii div i appendix 7 deals with the acceptance creteria for LP of steel casting but if I am doing LP testing on a cast sleeve made of bronze , would the acceptance creteria be changed or remains same ?
Reponce will be appreciated
