    I agree. After reading other threads, it seems ASME does not like the lack of stress information above 400 deg.f. We use the ASME pressure vessel program for liability issues, and inspection of the venturi tubes and piping systems we manufacture meet B31.1 or B31.3 codes. I have not found any...

    The materials are per the customer request. We are a Venturi manufacturer and use ASME codes for design. But the customer wants it made to ASME B31.8 specifications, which is a piping spec.

    I use CEI Prowrite ASME pressure vessel design software. I am trying to design a tube per ASME B16.8 using API 5L X65 pipe and A694 F65 flanges. But the materials are not in the software. I looking for either Any help.
