Hello gentlemen,
I'd like to ask for your help again. Do you know how to model a frequency depenedent damper in A/CAR? Just to be clear, the logic behind this damper is that there are several damping characteristics based on the wheel movement frequency. I can create multiple damper on top of...
So after a long discussion I learned that it's just impossible. Apparently, it is due to tire relaxation although it's not clear to me how is it related to similation mode. Seems that Pacejka tire model just cannot calculation lateral/longitudinal forces in statics. So I have to create an...
Hello,
I'm struggling with the tire model (pacejka2002) in A/Car. I'm running a modified tilt table analysis where the outcome of the simulation depends on lateral forces in the tire-tilt table contact. The problem is that I'd like to run the simulation as a quasi-static, not dynamic, and in...
Hello Greg,
thank you for the reply. This is the approach I'm trying to avoid as I have multiple parts in my model. Maybe there is a way to automate it? How do I list all the parts I use?
Yes I have my reasons why I need it and I guess I'm not the only one since I found another post asking the...
Hello gentlemen,
I'd like to ask you for a tip or trick on how to calculate the CoG position for the assembly created in A/View. The goal is to get continuous measurement during a simulation. I have multiple parts in my models and I don't want to go through them one by one.
Thank you for your...
If the model runs without control then I assume it runs with "locked" steering as well. It might indicate just an issue with the steering control. Have you checked the gain on the .testrig.pvs_steering_ratio or the steering rack's reduction gear? Maybe just an added negative multiplier will do...
