Appreciate all responses from your side. in the local codes there is no specific requiremnets to it. and NFPA-24 specify it should based on hydraulic claultions, or 6 inch minimum if feeds hydrants, etc. for that i asked may be there is any other sections in NFPA mentioned this point.
