When you look at this ROV, and you see those wires exposed, how do they prevent water from getting into that? Especially when under the high pressure exerted by the depths that the ROV traverses to?
I'd like to ask;
1) Besides materials used to construct the ROV and its parts, what other parameters determine how deep an ROV can go before failing/breaking apart/imploding?

Is there, or could you provide, a comprehensive list of technologies/techniques/methods for waterproofing devices, especially devices with sensitive electronics, that are to be used underwater such as ROVs? I'm unable to find a comprehensive list on the search engine.
