Is there, or could you provide, a comprehensive list of technologies/techniques/methods for waterproofing devices, especially devices with sensitive electronics, that are to be used underwater such as ROVs? I'm unable to find a comprehensive list on the search engine.

When you look at this ROV, and you see those wires exposed, how do they prevent water from getting into that? Especially when under the high pressure exerted by the depths that the ROV traverses to?

Unlike the other electronics which sealed and kept in watertight containers, those wires are exposed. Doesn't that leave them vulnerable to water damage?
