Forget the connection with the plates. You can model how you want but reality is different story. The best is to use every connection for the function what is the originally designed. I will use option "2" on your sketch.

I am using formulas for elongation and evrithing is OK for long bad (400ft), but for short bad (50) I am getting the forces above the 80% of the specified minimum ultimeate tensile strength.
Any idea what is wrong.

I have 400ft long bed of hollowcore. On the begining of the bed there is no good copaction of the concrete so how I could know how far from the end of the bed cut the first slab to avoid slippage.
