Thanks Ferdo for checking up; at least the script is not corrupt.
I've tested on a coleague machine and is working; there has to be something else - hopefully not related to catia - that is causing this error on my machine.
I'm not running directly from Catia Portable; I've created my own folder - "library" with a couple of scripts that I've copied from the Catia Portable.
Then from "Tool" pull down menu when you select "Macros" command you have to define the "path" where your scripts are stored and they will show...
Hi Ferdo,
When running Bounding Box scrip from Catia Portable I get an error:
ERR_1002
Description: Object required
Line: 96
Colum: 4
Here is the line from script
Set hybridBody1 = hybridBodies1.Add
Any clue how to fix it?
Running R21
Thx, Puk
Assuming your intention is to have the hole at the same distance from the sides of the part regardless of the hole size all you have to do is create dependencies btw the hole radius and the part sides.
Take a look at

It keeps the hole at .175in from...
Hopefully, the specification tree will help you.
I've used "Sketcher","Part Design"&"GSD"
It may not be the best way but I'm a beginer.
Try this(in Sketcher):
View>Toolbars>Customize>Toolbars(tab)>Tools(select)>click"Remove commands"(to verify if"Construction Element" is included in command list)>[if is not included then]>click"Add commands" & select"Construction Element" from the command...
It all depends. There are the default shortcuts(Ctrl+C=copy for ex.) and there are user defined shortcuts thru Tools>Customize>Commands. For instance I put Ctrl+0 for Fit All In.
I myself I'm learning Catia now, but others members more experienced may point some other tips.
