I'm trying to write a code to copy a worksheet, do something and then delete it. Problem is I get this prompt before the sheet is deleted:
"Data may exist in the sheet(s) selected for deletion. To permanently delete the data, press delete."
How do I get my code to avoid that prompt or...

Try the Casti guidebook series.

There is even a free downloadable "light" version of some of these books, e.g.

Thanks folks
I figured I might have to use a "text separating" formula or function to make it work.
As IRStuff questioned - I don't HAVE to have it all in one cell but I just think it makes a neater spreadsheet in this case as I already have a lot of columns in there. My spreadsheet is for...
I'm not an expert on this but the purpose of passive fire and explosion protection in wellhead areas and other areas on an offshore platform is to ensure maximum possibilities for evacuating personnel from the area, and to minimise escalation of the accident (platform collapse etc)
I think the...
Is it possible to enter a serie of numbers - comma separated - in one cell and then use this "string" as an array in another formula?
For example:
In cell A1 I enter 1,0,0,1,1,1,0
In cell B1 I enter =sum(A1) and the result should have been 4.
I know this doesn't work, but the question is is...
I agree with moltenmetal and others that a hydrotest should always be preferred unless there are good reasons not to do so - there may well be.
In 1995 there was an incident in a british construction yard where three workers were killed during a nitrogen pressure test. Here's the story as I...

Try to download the "Beams" file from
http://www.mxl.dk/Download%20Files/Sampleexcel.htm
There's a neat little pump arrangement also in one of the other files.
These are just a couple of samples. I think you will find that they can be made to look quite ok with a little effort...
Have your macro to include a progress indicator.
I haven't tried myself but there are several tips out there if you search for them, e.g.

Just to confirm that dangerous fluids as understood by the PED are NOT the same as all those listed in article 2 (2) in 67/548/EEC, a revision to guideline 2/7 has been proposed and will be discussed in the work group on January 19.
The proposal is as follows...
Quick rule of thumb
Tog get the same fluid velocity, the square area of the manifold should have the same square area as the sum of the outlet pipe square areas (or inlet pipes). Divide by pi/4 on both sides of the equal sign you get:
D^2=d1^2+d2^2+d3^2+........+dn^2
where:
D is the Manifold...
I suppose what you need to draw are the "schematic" beams with point loads or uniform distributed loads etc. or similar for frames.
In this case I suggest you try to explore the drawing toolbox within excel. You can do quite a lot of things with those.
A few tips:
1. Resize your grid to show...
