    Save Modified Documents

The key word there was "read-only", you need to take ownership of the assembly or do a "save as" and rename the assembly/parts as required.

Indent function is not intuitive (to me)

You could also start with a flat sheet metal part and use the emboss feature, pattern emboss feature and then use the flex feature (bending) @360° and it will turn out to be a cylinder with a crimped look. Hope that helps. Cheers!

    Pro/INTRALINK question

Whenever I add an existing part to a new assembly, the part status (in workspace) changes to "modifed". Why does this happen??? I'm not actually modifying the part. This also occurs when I modify text or something in a drawing. Has anyone experienced this? Is there some setting that needs to...

    Pro/INTRALINK question

Well, I figured out one way to make the warning go away, I've only used the "parameters" function before but, I noticed the designate function in tools right below parameters and lo and behold....what do ya know. I just uncheck the darn things. Couldn't delete them though....oh well, at least...

    Pro/INTRALINK question

Looslib, I'm unable to modify these perameters, they are locked. Even when I save as a different p/n, they are still locked. Is there someway to fix this? Thanks for your reply! David

    Pro/INTRALINK question

OK folks, got a little problem here. I'm using some harware from the PTC library and when I save as our companies p/n, I get the following warning: These attribute type(s) are inconsistent with Pro/INTRALINK definition(s): : Ptc_Catalog_Part. Now originally, this had another warning...

    Pro/INTRALINK crashes

Whenever I try to view the information on a part/assy/dwg from my workspace or commonspace, Pro/I crashes on me. This used to not happen. Not sure what causes this but, it is very annoying. My gut feeling is that Pro/I got corrupt, how and when, I'm not sure. Can anyone help me out? Thanks...

    opening Pro/E Wildfire in fullscreen

All, I've tried editing my config.pro file with "OPEN_WINDOW_MAXIMIZED (hidden)" also, left out the "hidden", also added "yes" to the param. Still, opens the same (about 85% I presume). How do I view the hidded params? Should I be using a different editor (using notepad to edit)? Thanks for...

    opening Pro/E Wildfire in fullscreen

Shoelace, Heckler: First, thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, it didn't work. I added that parameter into my config.pro file, saved it, opened up WF, still opened to the default setting. Thought it might be the "window_scale" param but that is set to 1.000. Any other ideas? Am I doing...

Is there a parameter that you can change to have Pro/E open in full screen?
