OK folks, got a little problem here. I'm using some harware from the PTC library and when I save as our companies p/n, I get the following warning: These attribute type(s) are inconsistent with Pro/INTRALINK definition(s): : Ptc_Catalog_Part. Now originally, this had another warning also:..not among filebased in Pro/I....I fixed that one by adding object attributes and the proper string of text. I thought that would work for the other one as well...any suggestions, comments etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Just delete them. They are parameters in pro/E that are not defined as attributes in Intralink.

"Wildfires are dangerous, hard to control, and economically catastrophic."
"Fixed in the next release" should replace "Product First" as the PTC slogan.

Looslib,
I'm unable to modify these perameters, they are locked. Even when I save as a different p/n, they are still locked. Is there someway to fix this?

Thanks for your reply!

David

Look in the Tools-Program section and see if they are in the INPUT area at the top of the file. If so, just delete the lines between INPUT and ENDINPUT.

They could also be locked because they are driven by a relation. Delete the relation should then allow you to delete the parameter.

Well, I figured out one way to make the warning go away, I've only used the "parameters" function before but, I noticed the designate function in tools right below parameters and lo and behold....what do ya know. I just uncheck the darn things. Couldn't delete them though....oh well, at least the warning went away...

Thanks

David
