    Analyze area of V5 area fill pattern

    Is there a way to analyze the area of an area fill pattern in a V5 drawing similar to analyzing a shape/pattern in V4?     With Catia V4 you need to purchase the STL module($$$$)in order to import an STL file. I am not sure if the same is true for V5.
