I have an ipart file with it's embedded table to change the part size, I need to include the dimensions of that table on my idw drawing file.
Is there a way to embed a spreadsheet into the idw so that it is linked to the ipart so when I change values in the idw spreadsheet the ipart...

When your in the annotation editor click the OBJECT ATTRIBUTE BUTTON, then select the actual part in your assembly navigator, a dialog box will pop up with the attributes you can insert for that part.
Thanks guys, I was just wondering also if one way had an advantage over the other. Some people I know are having problems with automatic numbers because of adding parts shifts sometimes numbers out of order and a pain to readjust the list. I'm wondering if it's easier with manual numbers.
Simple question I'm hoping someone can answer.
With UG Parts Lists, what is the preferred method for callout numbers..meaning..do most let the program automatically assign a number or do you manually control the number yourself?

I can actually extract the whole casting solid for the machining file with the linker, even by adding the casting as a component? By adding the casting as a component is the only way I can think of keeping it associative, but it will not let me subtracting material...
With casting and machining machining models, is there any way to have 2 separate files and yet have the machining model update if the casting model has changed?
Any suggestions?
