Copy/Paste Break Link
If you want to create new components i.e. new part numbers do a new from on the sub-product and in the list of parts do new from on each part then if there are any links still within these parts isolate the individual parts, doing a copy and paste will just create a new instance of the part, if...- teacherJR

Ok new question..
you could use power commands. If you have a CATIA P2 configuration you will see a white box bottom right of your screen. If you type c:point you can type 10,10,10 which will give a point at theses co-ordinates- teacherJR
