    I do have "Noun/Verb selection" set as well as "Implied windowing" and "Object Grouping". The ones not checked are "Use shift to add to selection set", "Press and drag", and "Associative hatch".

    Thanks for your response. I appreciate it. It doesn't matter if I have the "include" or "exclude" button checked. In either case, the command line says I have 9 items selected or 20 items selected, for example, but they do not appear to be selected and I can't do anything with them. (Of course...

    Quick Select Problem

    When I try to use "quick select" from "current selection", it says I have, for example, 14 objects selected, but it won't let me do anything with them. If I use "quick select" from the "entire drawing", it seems to work fine. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas? Thanks, Diane
