Quick Select Problem

When I try to use "quick select" from "current selection", it says I have, for example, 14 objects selected, but it won't let me do anything with them.

If I use "quick select" from the "entire drawing", it seems to work fine.

Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas?

Thanks, Diane

Thanks for your response. I appreciate it.

It doesn't matter if I have the "include" or "exclude" button checked. In either case, the command line says I have 9 items selected or 20 items selected, for example, but they do not appear to be selected and I can't do anything with them. (Of course, I get a different number of items if I have "include" or "exclude" checked.)

Thanks again, Diane

Can you do your select thing, then type a command like "move" then "p" (for Previous Selection Set) and move those objects?

Thank you. I tried that and it reverts to the selection set I had before I ran the "quick select". I really appreciate all the ideas.

Diane

Are you using Noun/Verb in your Selection Modes? What do you have checked in those options?

I do have "Noun/Verb selection" set as well as "Implied windowing" and "Object Grouping". The ones not checked are "Use shift to add to selection set", "Press and drag", and "Associative hatch".
