Does anyone know the best way to justify text in Microstation so that the test will form an even sided "block" like the justify button in MS word, automatically spacing the characters to even both the right and left sides? I tried using all of the different justification and method...
Not really, I would just like to know how to import data from several boreholes at once. Is this possible? What format should I use? So far, I can only enter data in one borehole at a time and it is quite tedious. Then ideally, I would like to show the stratigraphy on the cross sections...
I am trying to center cross sections on a 20 scale sheet using
geopak to create the sheets. For some reason geopak keeps placing the sections near the bottom of the sheet, while I would like to keep them in the center. Any suggestions?
Have you had sucess importing borehole data, and not manually entering it- what about mutiple boreholes? Have you used the interpolate subsurface tin files tool? I have browsed ask inga and the knuckleheads guide to geopak sites and found only limited information on the geotech aspects of...
Hello-
Has anyone had any experience using the V8-Geopak Geotechnical Tools. Is anyone aware of instructional documentation besides the help file on using these tools. I think these tools could be real time savers but I would like to hear some real world experience and advice before I dive...
Hello-
I am drawing cross section cut slopes in geopak (Microstation V8)using the draw XS line tool and I cannot seem to get snapping to work. Has anyone else had this happen and know a way to get snapping to work in geopak? Thanks.

Sam74-
Thanks for your help, the process was a success. However, the slope analysis tool did not seem competely accurate. For example, the slope over a 5' rise in contours over a distance of 50 feet would show up as a 11.8:1 slope. This concerns me, so I went back to the cross sections and...
Good morning, indeed!
Sam74: I am not sure what you mean by write out the tin file.
Do you mean to open it? I am not so proficient at geopak, I mainly use cross section navigator to determine boring locations and depths. I will give it a go though, and thanks for the help.

Hello-
I have to go through 16 miles of cross sections, 50 feet at a time to determine if the slopes meet certain conditions. Basically, I need to know which sidehill fills are steeper than 8H:1V. I am using Geopak Road, V8 and I know there has to be a faster way than drawing a line...
