If that doesn't work, Google side branch orifice diracdelta and the first HIT should take you there. Thanks for your help!
I have found an equation for the expected power transmission loss as a function of frequency in the presence of a side orifice at this British site: http://www.diracdelta.co.uk/science/source.html#.WMvYime1taS. However, I have been unable to confirm this equation by further research and it...
btrueblood: Double post was inadvertent. I did the first one before I say\w a forum dedicated to rubber. Will be more careful in future. Thanks for your help.
I am striking out on a search for my subject. NASA's Maptis, MatWeb, Google Scholar, and the ASM Handbooks, among other sources I've tried, have not zeroed in on this. Any suggestions? Thanks.
I am striking out on a search for my subject here. NASA's Maptis, MatWeb, Google Scholar, and the ASM handbooks, among other places I've checked, have not zeroed in on this. Any ideas? Thanks.
I am a librarian seeking data on the permeation of helium through metals. We know He does not permeate through bulk metals, but we are looking at depositing thin films of metal and it needs to seal well for He. Thank you.
I am searching for phase diagrams for Ta-10W, C103, TZM, Mo41Re, W, and Re and not having any luck. ASM Handbooks have lots of info on these, but I haven't found any phase diagrams. Any suggestions? Thanks.
I am seeking tissue properties (elastic modulus, Poisson's ratio, density, and yield stress/failure stress) for 28 parts of the human eye! Is anyone aware of a resource which covers some, many, or all of these areas? Thank you.
This material is highly corrosion resistant, which is why I am posting this question here.
I am looking for fatigue properties for Nitronic 50, particularly as they relate to Endurance Limit, Fatigue Strength, Number of cycles N versus Strength Sa. Specifically, we care about very high cycle...
I am looking for fabrication costs for gasifiers going into coal-fired power plants. Lots of data out there on overall construction costs for such plants, but I want to drill down to get specifics on gasifier construction. Thanks.
I am seeking a resource for thermal decomposition of biphenyl, naphthalene, isoquinoline, and diphenyl methane at temperatures near 650 C. As with a former query of a day or two ago relating to propane, I have found quite a lot at significantly higher temperatures, but nothing in this range.
My Subject says it all. I am finding a lot on thermal decomposition at higher temperatures, but nothing in the 300 C range. I am trying to determine the durability of propane as a working fluid.
I am searching for mechanical properties and adhesion of nickel electroplated onto nickel; copper electroplated onto copper; and nickel:copper alloy electroplated onto nickel:copper alloy. I have found a little information on the first, but not all I want and nothing on the others.
Thanks...
I found the first article, but not the second. Thanks! I have forwarded the Amazon list to my engineer. I think we have put together a good assortment of stuff for him to examine. Many thanks for the help.
Kistler was somewhat helpful; however, I still haven't zeroed in on a good description of how to design one of these sensors and perform fast pressure measurements.
Any other ideas? Thanks.
I have yet to turn up a direct hit on what my engineer is requesting, though I have found a few papers and book citations which may help. I thought someone at Eng-Tips might be able to point to a volume right on their shelves that addresses this issue directly.
But I am still looking.
I am seeking design and functionality information on piezoelectric sensors used for fast shock pressure measurements. A review article or book addressing the subject would be ideal.
Thank you.
