I have seen that on PCBs of Fanuc CNC Power Supply, Spindle/Servo Amplifiers they only use AN78xxF regulators. It also seems that this type of regulator is, also, extremely stable at operation, producing very little noise/ripple.

What is the difference of regulator AN78xxF to the typical 1A regulators? Where can i download it's datasheet? THNX
