Guys,
My small subdivision has private asphalt roads which have about 3" of base material. Naturally, the road are constantly cracking and over time developing potholes. Have there been any improvements on repair procedures other that just cutting and excavating, putting in the right thickness...
Does anyone have a recommendation for a 12" PVC check (flap) valve to use in a storm water gravity-flow application. I will only have about 2' of head available to operate it.
Thanks
Thanks all for your input. I got the City Engineer to change his mind and allow a brick manhole for this special case.
Oh yeah, and FYI dont believe a contractor when he tells you he can pour-in-place manholes LOL.... I allowed that substitution at a pre-bid conference and These guys can even...
FYI... I have heard the scuttlebutt here in Texas that the date for a required MSE along with the BSCE will be 2012... I think all states will be eventually going to this...
I am trying to find a detail for poured in place large storm manholes (for 48" to 66" pipe). Could anyone direct me to either a site or a publication w/ a typical detail for this? All my details are either pre-cast or brick of which neither will apply to this condition.
Thanks
