actually, these two bodies were connected by seals. I would like to find out how these two parts are moving in order to figure out why there are seal problems.
We can consider the steady state of thermal expansion.

Anyone has used a ball joint under high temperature environment? (about 1000F). The normal ball joint use lubricant which will vaporize under such high temp. Is there any self lubrciated ball joint availabe? Hope it can survive under such a high temp.
