I am working on improving the lighting on our assembly line and am wondering if anyone has any recomendations as to what is appropriate in terms of foot candles, light color etc.

I've still been working with it since i wrote the post. I realized the part that i am working with is a mirrored image of an imported part. This may have something to do with it. Otherwise it could be that i need to update my service pack.

I am using solidworks 2006 SP4.1. I am having some trouble with the flat pattern drawing of a mirrored sheetmetal part. The software lets me make the flat pattern view but it will not let me put the bed notes in.

I am working on testing some different heat sink setups on a motor controller. We are forced to test outside and since the daily temperature varies it becomes difficult. Does anyone have any ideas or ways to correct the data for varying ambient temperatures.
