    CountOlaf is right, "HVAC Equations, Data, and Rules of Thumb" is a great reference book. I have this book at my desk and use it quite often.

    Your best bet would be to contact the local rep of the MCC manufacturer. He will get the most accurate answer. I typically have my EE contact their rep and pass the data along to make the calcs as accurate as possible. I tried searching in the ASHRAE books, but Icouldn't find anything as well.

    Chlorine storage room ventilation

    I agree with Compositepro. I did a chlorine room for a Water Well Building, and we placed the exhaust fan 12" AFF and the intake louver around 60" AFF (if I recall correctly). The switch was located outside the room in order to start ventilating before it was occupied.

    Thanks Atlas. I totally agree with you and the space not being occupied. I worded it wrong. What I meant by "mostly" was the occasional worker walking in there for whatever the reason may be. The room was designed according to NFPA 820 Class I Div I criteria. The reason I was leaning away...

    I am in need of explosion proof radiant heat panels for a class 1 div 1 facility. I checked with Chromalox and had no luck. Would anybody be able to suggest a manufacturer? Thanks in advance.
