I need some thecnical information about stepper motors (in general or particullar!!)?
Also if anybody knows haw ECU can compensate the required Voltage for an steeper motor with manual throttle body?
I think it depends on the design of the guid and valve train as well as tolerences on valve stem and valve guid. but on the end of the stem it should be about 100 degrees more than intake one.

Thank you for the references. I have seen the following paper, would be helpful also:

As you know there are two aspects affect ignition timing, ignition delay and flame speed. I am sure that delay is longer for CNG. But for flame speed, it is more complicated!

I have heared many explanations for flame speed comparison of different fuels in internal combustion engine. But I have never found any reference to make a sharp conclution to say CNG falme speed is lower than gasoline in the same condition. Or any diagram, test results or also...

I want to convert it to cc/sec for instance to check leakage criteria for intake manifold. I need to know if the criteria is 100 Pa m3/sec and the pressure is 3 bars what will be the leakage flow in cc/sec.
Dears
What is conversion factor for leakage rate unit Pa.m3/sec ? and what is the definition of this unit. Is it some like mass leakage rate? Any reference?

Is there any body can explain what is the main reson they design and use a Schrader Valve on the returnless fuel rails. As I can imagine there is some advantage with releasing gasoline vapor when the temperature rises and flow is blocked. also if they want to repair an injector for...
I followed many activities for selecting a suitable material for valve seat inserts (especially exhaust) of a CNG-Bifuel engine, Following materials were selected, sampled and tested through engine durability procedures:
1- a cast Ni-resist (nickel added) heat resistance cast iron with...
Tony,
Thanks for your help. I already prepared a mixture of %85 petrol and 15% methanol. would it be enough to leave the O-Rings for some 10 hours in that mixture before repeating the tests.

Hi.
Is it possible for an air pressure decay device make a minus value in leak test?
I was testing some plastic fuel rails with 50 cm hose assembled on them. just one of them had a 10 cm hose but the volume, on the device, was set for 50s. the leakage was showd the same magnitude but minus for...

Thanks alot for you all attending this discussion.
I would like also add, if there is any leakage in the first seconds of operating 3.5 bars, through warm up duration, is there a risk of firing? Never the less I will try to check actuated injectors also to see what happen!
I work on full assembled fule rail validation test and want to know is it normal for a gasolin injector to have some internal leakages in low temperature (for example -30 deegrees centigrade)? nominal pressure would be 3.5 bars but I performed 5 bars.
