Because I was having several problems with mathcad 13. I decided to re-install.
After I uninstalled both Mathcad 13 and Mathcad 12, I did a search for folders in the documents & settings directory and deleted all folders which contained the word, MATH in the folder name so I got ride of all...
News flash!!! mathcad started acting strange so I closed it and tried to run it again, and it kept crashing. I then ran the Windows Task Manager and ended the mathcad process tree.
I then ran mathcad and to my surprise the tables displayed correctly for the first time in over a year!
I then...
>my version 13.1 shows no error, and, I've never seen this particular problem flagged on the Mathsoft user forums.
Actually I posted it in March, 2007 (see link below)

Also this appears to be the same problem which a few people had similar...
Are you referring to WindowsXP service packs or Mathcad service packs? WindowsXP is up to date.
My Mathcad version is 13.1
I don't remember if I had the problem with 13.0, but I vaguely remember updating to 13.1 to try to fix it without success.
I bought Mathcad 13 before it was sold to SPC...
This is about the same problem I had in March of 2007 and never successfully solved. (see http://www.eng-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=180218 )
In MathCAD 12 table display works fine, but I have never succeeded in making it work in MathCAD 13.
There are options which are supposed to effect this...
Unfortunately I looked into that and found it problematic.
I can get by without the table stuff now that I can display matrix, and in order to install, I have to go back to the original disk, apply an update patch, and install a significant number of add ons...more trouble than it is worth with...
This is the same problem I just now reported in:
http://www.eng-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=180218&page=1
There seems to be a bug because the MathCAD help says:
"Long vectors and range variables both display using output tables. However, range variables have the row and column labels turned...
Well I figured out a little, but there seems to be a bug. Range variables are supposed to display as output tables but do not. Here is what MathCAD Help says:
"Long vectors and range variables both display using output tables. However, range variables have the row and column labels turned...
strictly speaking, it is actually
j:0;10 <Enter>
The default increment is 1 if the second term of the series is not entered.
But that has nothing to do with the behavior I am seeing. If nobody knows exactly the cause of this, I will try re-installing. I had to do something like that once...
I checked that already...calculation is on and I see clues that calculation is carried on. Matrix display OK, and so do variable values, but there are several cases that I get this behavior where I would expect some result.
This is Mathcad 13.1
I have used MathCAD in the past and for the first time in a long time I fired it up and had the following problem.
Entered:
j := 0;10
and then
j=
But the j range did not display...what I got instead is what is in quotes:
"j="
Nothing else...what I expected was a display of the...
