Anyone running SolidWorks on a Mac?

I tried both an you really should try boot camp, there is a world of difference. One warning to everyone, dont expect any support with problems if you have maintenance support. Solidworks says Solidworks + Mac = no support. Especially if you are not using boot camp

Worth it to go to 2008?

I like 08 since the spline and surfacing is much better. Not one crash or hickup for me and Vista64bit, not ONE problem. I think the best thing I did is asked my dealer what they suggested for the computer. M6300 Dell and a 380 Dell. I think SW is very touchy on hardware and how clean your...

Anyone running SolidWorks on a Mac?

My issue with getting the Mac for Solidworks is that The Software costs more than the machine. Add to that the maintenance whihc will become a mute point if the issue you might have points to the graphics. Solidworks told me they have 0 plans to work on a Mac version. It would be a waste of...

Anyone running SolidWorks on a Mac?

Well I have been a Mac person for years then forced to switch to PC's. I spend so much time keeping them running correctly it is frustrating. Probably format twice a year wasting at least a day each time. My certified Dell M70 is getting slower by the day, time to reformat, Solidworks crashed on...
