    Ed, small pie shaped spur gear about 3" pitch diamter. Must meet ASTMB117 salt foy (I know - overkill) and get to about RC30.

    I am researching a low cost design for a spur gear this is currently made from 17-4PH H1150. I see comments that this material should not be used in "very low" temperatures. Where can I find material properties / operating temperatures for 17/4PH? Thanks!
