I think you can add some atom which can be inspected by a specific equipment in the flow. And then you can know where leakage. But I don't know what kind atom used. Maybe this information is useful for you. As I heard someone verify his landlord orts to him so he add something in the fresh and...
I think the tilting disc check valve's life is longer then the common swing check valve. As the damage from disc is smaller then the common swing check valve.
I think the pad support can be both floting or trunnion. At first the ball valve should be big size. And we have produced a 16" 300# ball valve for Cryognic service. At first our design is trunnion but we found is very hard to seal after tested once. Then we changed to floating but the trunnion...
if per QA the welding rod should preheated and then put them in a heat preservation case before welding. But now alwasy use PLASMA. Maybe you should reference the PLASMA manual. Hoping it's helpful.
I think it's better to use ball valve instead plug valve. At first ball valve is cheaper and function is the same.
And if use actuator the torque is much smaller than plug valve. At the same time the valve should be jacket. I think the ball valve jacket is easy then plug valve.
As for the seat...
I'm working in valve for 5 to 6 year. I think QA system and file is very long but QC is easy. It's can be 4 steps.
1. Raw material control. (you can follow the material STD or ANSI B16.34, MSS, for chemical, machine, X-ray, MT, PT and so on).
2. Process control. Machine, first check, middle...
I agree with Ashereng to use through conduit is a good idea. Of course the metal seated ball valve is good way, and I don't think the packing leakage is not your choice wrong, I think it the valve have some problem. And the main problem is the stem not in the same axle of ball and below trunnion.
Hi valveNerd, I think you can use you USA ISO 9001 certificate. And I nerve heard API 598 certificate. API 598 is only a test STD. Not same as API 600, API 6D, API 6A and so on.
I think you can apply related API certification in USA and then you can use it on your products. It's same as OEM...
Hi Gagossi, I don't think it's for money. I think is for your specification. As I'm a sales man. Always the specification say API 6D but in RFQ need reduced bore. As sales reduce bore is cheaper and easy can got the order, everybody knows that. So, please check your specification.
Hoping I'm not...
