Worked perfect. I noted that, with this macro, the surface color did not change (but inside changed) unless I do a "Feature recognition" for the "step" imported part. It took me sometime to understand this. Thanks again, CBL.
In an imported step assembly model, while the parts appear in color, if I section the assembly, the cut sections (of parts) show in white. I think, this is due to the model of parts are in color on the surface, but not inside. One way to get the cut parts in color is to select individual parts...
