I have some custom set properties set in the part template like Part Name, Material Usage that has to be edited manually later on and few others. All I need is to copy the settings from the template to show in the copied part .... sounds simple, doesn't it :-)

I just checked , as you said, it does not work on drawings. Please let me know if you find anything that would do that.
