    I would be inserting the riv nuts (if I were to use them) into Baltic Birch plywood. This stuff is very tough and I wonder if I could pound the riv nuts into it (considering they have tines). I will try a standard T nut first. JayKayEh

    Actually, on second reading I realize that I am looking at something I have not considered before. The riveting T nuts are not ideal but may well do the job. I would still prefer something removable though.

    It would be two parts that would thread together like a Chicago bolt. But unlike a Chicago bolt, it would have an internal 1/4-20 thread to take an additional bolt. JayKayEh

    I am trying to locate a panel mount nut that will insert into a pre-drilled hole in 1/2" plywood.
