Does anyone know what this is called and where I can find it? The silver cone shape rotates around the black part. This seems like a pretty standard part...
Cressal is actually a sister company to us- we are looking at pretty stringent space requirements and so require a little different design. We do however use many similar designs on our other products-
I am looking for cost effective alternatives to GPO-3. We currently have several units that we make out of GPO-3, however we are reaching temperatures in our unit of ~300°C (GPO-3 is only rated to 130°).
The material must have similar structural and electrical capabilites. Any ideas?
Thanks in...
I currently have a unit that is made of zinc-coated mill galvanized steel. It is my understanding that reaching temperatures above 230°C will cause the metal to flake and compromise the mechanical properties.
Are there cost effective alternatives that will allow us to reach ~300°C without having...
All,
We are currently running 18g mill gal parts on a Trumpf 5000R and having issues with the waviness that is present in the part.
Specifically the issue is present in a checkerboard pattern we have created for maximum airflow. We run 5 10x70mm punches in one orientation and then 5 punches...
All,
I have searched the net and forums on this topic but haven't found much of anything useful.
We currently have an embossment on a 24g 18SR grid plate that is about .025 deep. We are re-making our die and the question has arisen as to whether or not this is the correct embossment depth...
The screws are in tension.
Screwman- I agree with your statement. Is there however, a way to quantitavely prove this? I have no data to support that hunch. I am looking for both the tensile strength of a 1/4-14 and the thread strength in 12g stainless. Besides actually testing this on an...
I have a question concerning the use of 1/4-14 sheet metal screws in 12 gage stainless steel sheet metal.
We currently have a unit (weight=600lbs) that is lifted straight up with eyebolts. The eyebolts tranfer the 600# tensile load through qty.8 1/4-14 stainless steel self tapper screws...
