Is it possible to measure the inertia of a manikin, or group of manikins? How they affect the CG of a vehicle is what I'm attempting to find out.
Thanks

well, by stable i mean it isn't full of bugs, and doesn't crash all the time. if they are all stable by that definition, then it was my mistake to think some weren't.
thanks
i'm attempting to load a huge number of files into one assembly. this is resulting in a very sluggish response from my computer. is there anything i can do to make this an easier exercise? i heard someone mention caching, but i haven't been able to get my head around how to do that, whatever it...
is there a way to have the manikin included in a catdrawing? i've tried changing my drawing type to approximate/cgr/etc, but didn't have any luck.
thanks,
mike
is it possible to draft a surface in catia? (i know about drafting solids). so far i've been creating my surface, adding thickness (turning it into a solid), drafting it, then extracting the surfaces. there has to be an easier way....
anyone?
thanks
that is what i first tried, but i didn't see anything about service pack. here is what i get:
CATIA(R) Version 5.18 (C)....
Build Day: 06-20-2007.21.12
and the rest is about the patents and so forth.
does that help?
Does anyone know how to set a default answer to the New Part: Origin Point" dialog box? I create a lot of new parts within the assembly design workbench, and would love to not have to answer this question every time.
Thanks,
i've created a user workbench in V5R18, but after closing catia and opening again, i can no longer load the workbench. it still shows up in the customize window, but when i load it either from the workbench toolbar, or from the start menu, nothing happens. switching to other workbenches works...
hey all, i've got a 13 second sequence that i would like to play back at real time, and with smooth motion. what settings in the 'Player Parameters' should i be using to achieve this? or are there settings elsewhere that i should be changing?
thanks very much,
mike
