ABAQUS/CFD has very limited capability. It cannot even simulate steady state flow.
They have the so-called "Co-Simulation" which they claim can couple CFD with structural analysis, but when you use it you will find it is really a pain in the neck.
I would recommend to avoid ABAQUS/CFD unless...
Wondering if anyone had experience doing FEA overseas. A friend advocated this idea and promised me that he can find good people to do the work with only a third of the cost here. The examples they showed are quite impressive.
But I think I'd be cautious so I came here...
