Hi cowski, no... it's a drafting application. The screenshot is from one of the iso views. :-) Had a wee play about with it... but can't get rid of these lines underneath. It is obviously an assembly.

Hi guys, it looks like I may not be able to do this. We use a document handling system which allows us to 'publish' approved dwgs to our intranet. I do not have the option of File - Export - PDF... I can only Plot to adobe, which I'm assuming is not the same thing. When I open NX6 on it's own...

Sorry John, I had replied to cowski before I seen your post, but is it not the same thing? As I said it looks alright on the UG screen but not when I print or create pdf. Could it be a plot setting?

Showing complete components in a section view

Hi John, thanks for the reply. Funnily enough that didn't work... but looking at the 'view-style' box I seen the 'section' tab and had a look on there. Right at the top-left 'background' was ticked but not 'foreground'... I ticked that, regenerated and wahaay! I got loads of nuts as well but...

    Converting NB to OD

Hi rneill - thanks for the reply. I should have mentioned that the next thing up my line is a 3/4" NB Tee... so I would then have to adapt from the 3/4" NPT(M) to some sort of 3/4" socket weld (male) piece. I phoned a company and they said they would just make a male socket weld to 1/2" OD...

    Converting NB to OD

Hi there... I have a small query... if I have a 1/2" OD A-LOK Needle valve with 1/2" OD tube either side and want to adapt this up to 3/4" NB pipe what is the best method? I have 3/4" X 1/2" NB reducing inserts elsewhere in the system but you can't get NB to OD reducing inserts. Cheers
