    X-Y tracking head design

I need to design a system like the one shown at http://www.anticyclone.myzen.co.uk/product_antenna.html the X-Y Tracking Head with the following specifications: Maximum angular slew rate 5 deg. /sec Pointing error 0.05 deg. Zero backlash gearbox Peak output torque: 48000 Nm I am searching but...

Large Parabolic Panel Reflectors for 10 Ghz EME

Dear All, We will try to construct a Cassegrain Antenna for 10 Ghz EME. We need to construct a large (at least 5 mt.) Parabolic Dish. We don't want to buy a one piece reflector, we want to buy panel reflectors to build it. Unfortunately we are having trouble finding a supplier for Large...

    dichroic subreflector

Yes we are reflecting the X Band and the Subreflector has to be transparent to the S Band. The other Specs are: RHCP polarization for X-Band receiver (8.025-8.375 GHz) LHCP polarization for S-Band receiver. (2.2-2.3 GHz) RHCP polarization for S-Band transmitter (2.04-2.12 GHz) Also there is a...

    dichroic subreflector

We would like to build a dichroic subreflector which will be used in a S+X Band Parabolic Antenna. Dichroic surfaces are transparent to one frequency and reflect another. In our case the frequencies are in the S and X bands. How difficult is to design and build such a dichroic subreflector?
