    Thanks for the input I looked up the specifications on a 1756-IF8 and the Input Range and Resolution is 15/16 bit. You are correct the data format is Floating point IEEE 32 bit. I am looking for a converter with greater than 16 bit Range and Resolution specs. I am guessing this would have to...

    Analog for Allen-Bradley Rockwell

    I am looking for a third party supplier that can provide an analog module with higher resolution than 16/15 bit currently available in the A-B product line. I this is not available would I be able to find this type of input sensitivity in another brand Siemens, Automation Direct etc.
